Winegrowers around the world are facing the consequences of our changing climate vintage after vintage. The major challenge for the modern producer is how to limit harmful environmental impacts in the vineyard and winery, while also dealing with an increasingly difficult Mother Nature. In this tasting we will discuss ways in which wines can be grown and produced sustainably, and we will learn how these techniques are also strengthening grape vine resiliency in the face of climate change.
This class is taught on Zoom by Matthew Brown, DipWSET and MW candidate, with wine samples available for curbside pickup by appointment on Friday, October 6 from 12:00pm – 5:00pm.
