Wine And Culinary Tour Of The Rhône Valley And Provence

5 nights in Avignon and 4 nights in Lyon, with 2 optional nights in Marseille

Long before Peter Mayle's "A Year in Provence" made it into the international best-sellers list, Provence, the south-eastern region of France, has held a special fascination for travellers from all over the world. Renowned for its beautiful weather, natural environment, and outstanding cultural heritage, this rich region offers us a lot to see and do!

We’ve made choices for you, with Avignon as the starting point for a number of excursions that will give you the opportunity to discover different aspects and tastes of the region, mixing wine discovery with culture.

On our trip, we’ll enjoy:

  • Guided private visits and tastings to wineries of the famous regions of the northern and southern Rhône Valley
  • Private guided walking tour of the centre of Avignon and its majestic Palais des Papes
  • Private guided walking tour old Lyon
  • Visit of the following beautiful villages of Saint Rémy de Provence, the famous perched villages of the Luberon: Gordes or Roussillon, Arles and its Roman heritage, and Nîmes
  • Visit to the famous landmark Pont du Gard
  • Visit of Valrhona’s Cité du Chocolat, followed by a workshop on chocolate and wine pairings
  • Opportunities to stroll in the little villages and do some shopping
  • Private guided walking tour of Marseille (optional)

Experience the beauty of Europe... the wines, cuisine, and culture on these all-inclusive vacations. Our wine and culinary tours are for solos, couples and friends!
