Join Kasia White as we discover one of Spain’s most fascinating and distinctive wine regions. Located off the northwest coast of Africa, the Canary Islands are home to dramatic volcanic landscapes, ancient ungrafted vines, and a remarkable array of indigenous grape varieties. In this class, we’ll explore the islands’ unique terroir and taste a selection of wines made from grapes such as Listán Negro, Listán Blanco, Negramoll, and Malvasía Volcánica.
Kasia recently visited the Canary Islands in February and will share firsthand insights from the vineyards, wineries, and landscapes that shape these vibrant, mineral-driven wines influenced by volcanic soils and the Atlantic climate.
The tasting lineup will be announced closer to the event, once final selections are confirmed.
Participants may choose to attend in person at the Capital Wine School or virtually on Zoom.
