Avitus Wine Bar calls itself “The home of Bon Vivant” which, if you look it up, will tell you “the enjoyment of a sociable lifestyle.”

And that’s exactly what we’ll be doing for our three French Flair nights this year at their new sister wine bar!

Yann De La Chanonie is from the south of France, and he felt Calgary was missing an authentic French wine bar, so he decided to open Avitus. It has been so successful, that he has now opened two new wine bars, Brioche downstairs and The Tasting Room above.

Our evenings at Avitus all sold out with long waiting lists for the last three years, and we know it will be the same this year at The Tasting Room. We’ll be enjoying Brioche’s’casual wine bar food, each course paired to complement the flavours.
