Taste Of Wine Spectator

Join us at Calcareous Vineyard for an evening celebrating our highest scoring wines, as recognized by Wine Spectator. On Saturday, April 25th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, guests are invited to experience a tasting of our most acclaimed and scoring releases in a welcoming, social setting at the winery.

Throughout the evening, we encourage our guests to move through our space, mingle, and explore seven of our top scoring wines, each thoughtfully paired with our Executive Chef, Richard Wirz’s specially prepared food pairing course. The pairings are generous and satisfying, designed to be enjoyed while standing and moving from station as you learn and explore our exceptional wines.

Members of our cellar team will be available throughout the evening to speak to you about each wine, the winemaking process, and what contributed to its top scores. Guests are welcome to ask questions and engage directly with the team. Our chef will also share insight into each food pairing, highlighting the flavors and inspiration behind every course.

We will also share updates from the road as owner Dana Brown and Winemaker Jason Joyce participate in the Wine Spectator’s Grand Tour, as they travel the country as special guests while showcasing our wines is Tampa, Denver and San Diego.

This evening is designed for discovery, conversation, and enjoyment. A chance to taste our most celebrated wines, connect with the people behind them, and enjoy thoughtfully paired food in our newly renovated relaxed tasting room setting.
