For Sivan Kobi, kosher cooking isn’t simply a culinary tradition—it’s part of her family story. The Israeli-born home chef, baker, recipe developer and creator behind Sivan’s Kitchen invites SOBEWFF® guests into that world for an intimate, hands-on Master Class at Maison Ostrow.
The daughter of the late Paltiel Paul Sherman, the man behind the beloved Sherman’s Bakery in California’s San Fernando Valley, Kobi grew up surrounded by the flavors, rituals and recipes of Jewish cooking. Today, she shares that heritage with a devoted online community, bringing warmth, personality and an approachable point of view to everything from traditional favorites to modern takes on the dishes she grew up eating.
At this special Master Class, Kobi will share the techniques, flavors and stories behind kosher cooking while inviting guests to experience how tradition can continue to evolve from one generation to the next.
The setting is equally special: Maison Ostrow, the elegant French-Mediterranean kosher restaurant from chef Olivia Ostrow. Come ready to cook, learn and taste your way through a morning where heritage, hospitality and seriously good food come together.
