It's Seminar Saturday! The arrival of spring is marked by warmer weather, longer days, and seasonal produce like artichokes, fava beans, and ramps. But for cheese lovers, spring means one very important thing: goat cheese season.
What is goat cheese "season," and why is it significant?
To celebrate this marvelous time of year for cheese lovers, we're taking a journey down the Loire River Valley to explore the many types of wines, cheeses, soils, and climates that make up this incredibly diverse and wonderful part of the worl. We'll be starting Sancerre and finishing in Nantais and exploring wines of the various regions with a variety of cheeses hand-selected to accompany them.
Please allot around 15 minutes-ish to taste through all of the wines and cheeses as this is going to be a more focused tasting where asking questions is both welcomed and encouraged.
Cheers! See you Saturday at 4P!
