This is the beginning of a much broader and wider dive into France which will become and astonishingly comprehensive series. We begin in September and October with This series: France in 7 Glasses and France: The B-Sides.

From there we're continuing with French and France-adjacent themes including The World of Pinot Noir, Cru Beaujolais, and, naturally, Champagne in December. As we move into the new year, we'll continue our journey through the Loire Valley, Southern France, and Alsace.

Taken together, these classes will provide a structured way to build a genuinely deep understanding of French wine and you’ll absolutely sense it when you enter a wine shop or restaurant and peruse the French wine section. You’ll understand not only the wines but also the historical, geological, and cultural patterns that created and connect them.
