National Mead Day At Brothers Drake Meadery

NATIONAL MEAD DAY is almost here, and we’ll be celebrating in style with the release of three meads!

Join us on Saturday, August 1, 2026 for NATIONAL MEAD DAY from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brothers Drake Meadery for a day of mead, pizza, and three releases you won't want to miss.

Returning Fan Favorites - PBJ - Our cult classic mead RETURNS! The sandwich you loved as a kid, this mead is crafted with honey, concord grapes and peanuts. And of course Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches will be available to complement the day in honor of our PBJ mead!

Purple Haze!!!! Yes, you’ve been begging for it to come back and we listened. This sweet mead with a citrus kick and purple hue IS BACK.

New Mead Release - Hot Passion! A bold blend of honey, passion fruit and jalapenos for those who like a little spice in their life. 

Food Truck - La Baia Pizza truck will be on-site from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, serving up authentic Italian fired pizza to pair perfectly with your mead.

Whether you're a longtime friend of the meadery or trying it for the first time, NATIONAL MEAD DAY is the perfect excuse to stop by, sip something new, and celebrate with us.
