From Switzerland in the North to the island of Sicily in the South, Italy produces a head spinningly vast array of wines. A dedication to its viticultural tradition seems to permeate every pour of Italian grapes. However, Italy isn’t the easiest country to approach from an learning standpoint; with over 500 officially identified native varietals planted through its diverse geography and history, it might seem to be a herculean task to introduce the wines of this country in just one class. But it isn’t, and we will, in 7 glasses.
