The Black Smoke Invitational is a premier live-fire culinary and cultural festival celebrating barbecue, music, hospitality, and community.

Presented by House of Black Smoke, the inaugural Invitational brings together California's top pitmasters, acclaimed chefs, celebrity judges, live-fire cooks, musicians, artisans, brands, and food lovers for an unforgettable day where food, fire, and culture come together.

The centerpiece of the event is an invitational barbecue competition featuring some of the West Coast's most talented barbecue teams competing before a distinguished panel of celebrity judges, including Tyler Florence, Kevin Bludso, David Olson, and Matt Horn, as they crown the inaugural Black Smoke Invitational Champion.

Guests will enjoy a full day of live entertainment featuring performances by The Vernon Black Band, Twice As Good, The Good Time Band, and Asher Belsky, creating an incredible soundtrack from opening to closing.

Your admission ticket includes entry to the festival, barbecue tastings from participating competition teams (while supplies last), live music, access to watch the championship barbecue competition, live-fire cooking demonstrations, chef meet-and-greets, artisan vendors, family-friendly activities, and immersive brand experiences throughout the day.

Craft beer, local wine, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, merchandise, and additional food offerings from featured chefs and vendors will be available for purchase throughout the festival.
