CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Join Kareem, aka Mr. Bake, for a weekend 4" cake decorating workshop designed to help you slow down, sip something delightful, and immerse yourself in the art of celebration cakes.

In this intimate, hands-on class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of cake decorating, including how to stack, layer, fill, frost, and decorate a 4" round cake using a variety of techniques and mediums. Kareem will guide you step by step in a fun, dynamic environment where creativity is encouraged and questions are welcome.

Best of all, you’ll leave with a fully decorated cake, perfect for sharing with friends and family, as well as new skills, fresh inspiration, and connections made through a communal creative experience. Whether you’re a total beginner or simply looking for a unique and relaxing activity, this class is the perfect creative reset.

Each ticket includes:

  • One 4" classic vanilla butter cake with vanilla buttercream
  • All decorating tools, frosting, and materials
  • A cake box to safely take your creation home
  • Access to a photo stand to capture your finished cake


All materials are provided, just bring a spirit of fun and curiosity.

ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTOR:

Kareem "Mr. Bake" Queeman is a James Beard–nominated pastry chef, entrepreneur, speaker and media personality with more than two decades of experience in the pastry arts. Celebrated for his nostalgic. desserts that blend creativity with cultural storytelling, Kareem has been featured on Food Network, Netflix, The Today Show, and The Kelly Clarkson Show.

In 2025, he made history as the first Black male and Queer baker to secure a recurring role on as a judge on national food competition series.Beyond the kitchen, Kareem is deeply committed to community outreach and mentorship.

He regularly partners with schools, nonprofits, and organizations to empower the next generation of culinary talent, using food as a tool for education, connection, and change. Through his artistry and advocacy, Kareem continues to inspire both within the industry and far beyond it.
