Cost: $400-450 per person

As a full harvest moon rises over the vineyard and the first cool edge of autumn arrives, we invite a small gathering to the Old Juan Flores Adobe, an enduring remnant of California’s early days, visited by Theodore Roosevelt during his travels along the Central Coast in the early 1900s.

For one evening, the ruins are quietly brought back to life, evoking a time when travel was measured, meals were shared, and the land shaped both.

The experience begins with a reception of Lucas & Lewellen Vineyards Sparkling Wine as the sun lowers behind the vines. From there, guests will be guided into the ruins, where a single long table is set among the earthen walls, lit by lantern and candle, beneath the open sky.

Dinner will be prepared over open flame by the celebrated Chef Melissa, whose work reflects both place and tradition. The menu draws inspiration from the spirit of Roosevelt’s time, honest, elemental, and deeply connected to the land. A three-course supper, including a signature game course, is paired with two estate wines selected for the evening.

Alongside the table, a quiet artifact from Roosevelt’s years in public life, used during his time as Vice President, will be present, offering a tangible connection to the man whose travels once brought him to this special place, as well as an opportunity for photographs.

This is an intentionally intimate experience. Seating is strictly limited to thirty guests.

Pricing and menu to be announced shortly.
