My friend is taking the next Som level 2 test in February. Do you have suggestions how she can study’ or events that would help ?

I assume, first, that you are referring to the examination given by the Court of Master Sommeliers. This is not exactly in my wheelhouse as a Master of Wine, a qualification which takes another approach and has a very different protocol. Has your friend already reviewed all the descriptive information available on their site (www.mastersommeliers.org)? If she has, I imagine that she is seeking insight from an insider, someone who has successfully passed this level (and perhaps more). What about personal contacts? I would certainly suggest your friend look online as there are many discussions of the process she is likely to find helpful, some offering very specific advice. Good luck!
