Dom Perignon 1970

I have keep this in the frig for 40 years. I also have the original box it came in. How do I sell this??
Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

This is curious and amazing to say the least - you've kept a bottle in your refrigerator for 40 years (the math isn't quite right as Dom Perignon 1970 wasn't on the market until many years after 1970). Have you lived in one house all those years, or have you moved? I assume you bought at least one if not two new refrigerators over that period. My best advice is to drink the bottle with someone who will appreciate the taste of an older Champagne. Otherwise, you can try an online auction service such as winebid.com.
