2000 Barolo Terre Di Bo

I have a Barolo 2000 terre di bo given to me about 2 yrs ago and is still sitting on my shelf. I want to know for how I could keep it for ? I keep it in my basement about room temperature. I tried to search the internet for this year it seems like no one carries this year of Barolo Terra Di Bo anymore.

I am not familiar with Terre di Bo Barolo, but several vintages seem to be currently available in the US at unusually low prices for this prestigious denomination. My guess is that the wine is probably not a long-distance runner as Barolo can be from a top estate. You indicate you are keeping the wine "on your shelf" at "room temperature." If that means lying down on the shelf nearest the floor in a dark, cool, stable basement, then that would be ideal.

Normally, I would say that you can keep a fine Barolo for a very long time, properly stored. In this case, my suggestion is to drink the wine much sooner.
