CENTRAL OTAGO WINE TOUR – FULL DAY

Discover the wines, people and spectacular landscapes of Central Otago on an all-inclusive, full-day wine tour from Queenstown with Queenstown Wine Trail.

Operating seasonally from 1 October, this is a daily small-group wine tour, limited to just 8 guests, not a one-off departure.. Designed for wine lovers wanting to explore beyond Queenstown, the day journeys through several of Central Otago's renowned wine subregions, including Gibbston, Bannockburn and Cromwell.

Central Otago is internationally celebrated for its Pinot Noir, but there is much more to discover. Taste a range of exceptional cool-climate wines while learning about the vineyards, winemakers, history and unique terroir of this remarkable New Zealand wine region.

YOUR DAY

10:45am – Depart Queenstown

Meet your WSET-qualified Wine Guide and travel through the spectacular landscapes of Queenstown and Central Otago.

Gibbston Wine Region

Journey through the dramatic Kawarau Gorge and Gibbston, the closest wine subregion to Queenstown and an important part of Central Otago's wine story.

Bannockburn & Cromwell Wine Regions

Travel deeper into Central Otago to explore the celebrated wine-growing areas around Bannockburn and Cromwell, visiting a selection of outstanding wineries and cellar doors.

Four Winery & Cellar Door Visits

Enjoy included wine tastings at four carefully selected Central Otago wineries. Our winery selection may vary by day, allowing us to showcase different producers, wines and cellar door experiences across the region.

Winery Lunch

Relax over an included a la carte winery lunch during your day, surrounded by the vineyards and landscapes of Central Otago.

Scenic & Historic Central Otago

Alongside the wine, discover some of the region's history and spectacular scenery, with stops that may include historic Arrowtown and Old Cromwell.

Approximately 5:00pm – Return to Queenstown
