Experience Bordeaux through private château visits, professional tastings, and exceptional access arranged for a small, invitation-only group—including a guaranteed opportunity for each guest to participate in a private visit and tasting at an 1855 First Growth estate.

From April 29–May 6, 2027, I will be bringing together a select group of wine enthusiasts to journey through the Bordeaux wine region aboard AmaDolce. Alongside the AmaWaterways river sailing, a privately arranged wine program takes guests deeper into the region, with private château experiences limited to no more than six guests.

Private visits and tastings are being arranged among a distinguished collection of estates throughout Bordeaux, drawing on the relationships of our Bordeaux-based team. The program is intentionally designed around meaningful access and professional tastings rather than traditional group touring.

The Elite Wine Experience

• A guaranteed opportunity for each guest to participate in a private visit and professional tasting at an 1855 First Growth estate

• Private château experiences in groups of no more than six guests

• Additional private visits and tastings at distinguished estates throughout the Bordeaux region, arranged according to access and scheduling

• Two wine professionals traveling with the group and hosting private tastings aboard AmaDolce, featuring specially selected wines beyond those ordinarily included in the cruise program

• A thoughtfully paced itinerary with time to enjoy the included AmaWaterways program, explore independently, or select from additional private Elite Enhancements

Rather than moving from château to château each day, the journey leaves room to experience Bordeaux itself—its wine, cuisine, culture, and landscape—while allowing each guest to shape the week around their own interests.
