With its iconic pyramid shape, the Matterhorn (4,478 meters) straddles the border between Italy and Switzerland. It’s one of the most photographed mountains in the world. Monte Rosa A massif with numerous peaks exceeding 4,000 meters, including Dufourspitze, the second-highest peak in the Alps. The only mountain entirely within Italian territory that exceeds 4,000 meters, it is part of the Gran Paradiso National Park, renowned for its pristine nature.is Mont Blanc The highest mountain in Europe at 4,807 meters (15,771 feet).
