Description of Tasting

:

Time to pick your Turkey Day wine and stock-up on great deal drinks to enjoy while family arrives, dinner cooks, football games take over and leftovers take care of lunch and dinner for a day or two. So come to CBC on Saturday, November 14, and check out the 15 different Thanksgiving selections on tasting.

And then take home your favorites not because someone told you the wine was “good for” Thanksgiving. But because you tasted it yourself!

At this free, no-RSVP needed, Thanksgiving tasting event, you’ll find whites and reds that please a crowd, fit your budget, and “go with” an all-American Thanksgiving dinner. We chose every wine on tasting to deliver high quality and high value, showcasing a wide range of flavor profiles and structures. All guaranteed to…well, not completely stink up the Thanksgiving table.

There are lots of strategies for picking winning turkey day wines. Here’s our favorite: Drink wine you really like that doesn’t make the food taste less good. It’s a modest approach that recognizes, really, no one wine is going to pair with stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce. So instead of aiming for a pair, why not just lay in a bunch of bottles you enjoy opening and sharing that will survive the culinary and flavor madness that is Thanksgiving dinner.

And, because you’ll only be taking home wines you love and know are great value for you, you’ll be just as happy opening them before and after Thanksgiving dinner as you are serving them when the big bird takes center stage

This is a 100% free chance to “try before you buy” up to 15 terrific wines for Thanksgiving and beyond. Round up a crowd of fellow wine fans and come join us from noon-4pm on Saturday, November 14!
