Great wine begins long before harvest—with healthy, living soil.
Join our Soil Keeper, Michael Presley, and Farm Manager, Andrew Beebe, for a hands-on composting workshop at the heart of our farm. It’s a three-hour experience exploring how microbes, worms, and organic matter work together to build resilient soil—and how compost and those living systems shape flavor in the wines we grow.
The morning blends short classroom sessions with hands-on practice on the farm, offering practical knowledge you can take home and use right away. Along the way, you’ll taste two of our estate wines, exploring how aromatics shaped by living soils are expressed in the glass—bringing the work beneath our feet into clear sensory focus.
Whether you’re composting in your backyard garden or managing land on a larger scale, this workshop offers practical, take-home guidance you can put to use right away—rooted in the same composting practices we continually adapt on our own farm.
This is an opportunity to slow down, ask questions, get your hands dirty, and spend time with us in the place where our wines truly begin.
