She is also well-known as the co-author of The World Atlas of Wine and the founder-editor of The Oxford Companion to Wine.

Alder Yarrow is a pioneering American wine writer and the founder of the long-running, award-winning wine blog Vinography. Recognized by San Francisco Magazine as the wine world's brightest cyberstar, he has spent many years covering the American wine scene.
