Women For WineSense San Francisco is proud to announce the launch of Vines & Voices, a new educational speaker series hosted at the San Francisco Wine School. This new series brings together highly acclaimed winemakers, industry leaders, and wine enthusiasts to explore the people and philosophies shaping today's wine industry.

Designed for both wine professionals and curious consumers, Vines & Voices highlights the work of microproducers, sustainable winegrowing practices, and the influential role of women across the wine industry. Each event offers guests the opportunity to hear directly from featured winemakers while tasting thoughtfully crafted wines and engaging in meaningful conversations.

Each evening will feature:

  • Educational presentations from featured winemakers
  • Guided tastings of distinctive and highly acclaimed small-production wines
  • Conversations about sustainable viticulture and responsible winemaking
  • Networking opportunities for wine lovers and industry professionals
  • Insights into the contributions of women throughout the wine world
  • Special access for participants to source limited production wines
  • Extra time to sip specials 1-on-1 with each guest winemaker in "The Secret Wine Bar" before and after each event

Since 1990, Women For WineSense has long been dedicated to empowering women in the wine industry through education, networking, and professional development. The Napa-Sonoma founding chapter continues that mission by creating accessible opportunities for learning and community engagement.

"Throughout my career, I've seen how powerful mentorship, education, and community can be in helping people find their place in the wine industry. That's why we're so excited to welcome Vines & Voices to San Francisco Wine School. It's an opportunity to celebrate outstanding women, discover exceptional wines, and bring people together around meaningful conversations," said Kristin Campbell, Co-Owner and COO of San Francisco Wine School.

October 18th - An Inside Look at Lost Valley Wines

Join Debra Becker Lamb, owner and vintner of Lost Valley Wines, and Monika Bielka-Vescovi Mbvescovi, wine educator, for a spirited conversation about the artistry, and evolution of wine beyond the glass.

The Ideas Shaping Tomorrow’s Wine

We'll explore sustainable viticulture, emerging wine trends, the deep dive into winemaking, and the thoughtful choices that transform grapes into wines with character and staying power.

A Tasting Through Time

Experience the extraordinary aging potential of Sauvignon Blanc in a vertical tasting spanning vintages from 2023 to 2025, including an exclusive preview of our 2025 Sauvignon Blanc crafted by renowned winemaker Philippe Melka of ateliermelka

We’ll also pour:

2025 Odd Moments Chardonnay — born from an exceptional micro-parcel of just 110 vines

2024 Cabernet Sauvignon — a first taste of the newest vintage.

And you can savor Lost Valley's estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil, sampling two vintages side by side.

This is more than a wine tasting. It’s a journey through time, place, and perspective—an invitation to meet the people behind the bottle and discover how terroir, patience, and winemaking decisions shape every sip.

Bring your curiosity. Follow the vintage. Taste the story.
