Local Event
Join us for an intimate wine dinner in The Vinyl Room featuring Bertony Faustin, the first Black winemaker in the U.S. Northwest and founder of Abbey Creek Vineyard. This one-night-only experience brings together thoughtful cuisine, expressive wines, and conversation rooted in history and tradition.
Created as a prelude to Juneteenth, the evening’s multi-course menu reflects the ways African American families have shaped the food traditions of Georgia through migration, ingenuity, and agriculture. Led by Executive Chef Gary Caldwell and the culinary team at Marcus Bar & Grille, the menu draws inspiration from inherited techniques, preservation, and Sunday suppers.
Guests will move through guided pairings, conversations around wine and cultural storytelling, and reflections on how food traditions evolve across generations. An intimate experience for those who value meaningful hospitality and the stories carried through food and wine of the American South.
