ABOUT SEBASTIAN PICHT A native of Philadelphia, Sebastian was born into a family of talented musicians, including his grandfather, composer and pianist Edward Kalendar, his mother, a violinist and member of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and his father, a conductor of his own string orchestra. Sebastian began his piano training at the age of four and in the last year, has presented solo recitals on international stages in Mexico, Iceland, and Spain, the last as the winner of the Absolute Prize at the 2025 Valencia International Piano Academy PRO Competition in July.
