Tribeca Wine Merchants invites you to an evening of food, wine, and friendship – celebrating a partnership years in the making. This event will feature a four course, family style dinner with a complete beverage pairing.
Five years ago, Coby and Mikey met while working in the basement kitchen of Don Angie. Coby was a young cook fresh out of culinary school, and Mikey was a sommelier captain balancing hospitality with business school. Already smiling, their meeting felt less like an introduction and more like recognition – as if some thread, spun long before, had finally drawn tight.
Years later, as roommates, that connection evolved into collaboration. Coby, alongside Chef Adam (Don Angie’s legendary, longtime Chef de Cuisine who opened the restaurant back in 2017), took over a Williamsburg pizzeria, Vinnie’s. Mikey, once an art student, helped reimagine its identity with a bold royal blue pizza box – signaling a new chapter for the restaurant.
Now at Tribeca Wine Merchants, Mikey reunites with Chefs Adam and Coby to bring back a special dinner first hosted at Vinnie’s last year. On Thursday, April 16th, join us at 12 White Street for a family-style dinner paired with a curated selection of wines. This all-inclusive experience features a seasonal menu by Chefs Adam and Coby of Vinnie’s, with thoughtful pairings from the Tribeca Wine Merchants team.
