Umami Amora returns for its second year and The Renaissance is everything the first chapter promised and more. This is a seven-course fine dining experience curated by seven Black chefs, each bringing their own story, their own heritage, and their own mastery to one table in celebration of Juneteenth.

From the moment you walk through the door, you are inside the experience. The atmosphere is curated from floor to ceiling — the lighting, the music, the energy in the room. Nothing here is accidental. Every detail of this evening has been designed to move you, to ground you, and to remind you what it feels like to be truly celebrated.

This year the menu expands beyond plant-based, honoring the full rich range of Black culinary tradition. Seven courses means seven distinct moments — seven different hands, seven different perspectives, seven reasons to slow down and be fully present. You will taste things you have never tasted and hear stories that stay with you long after the last plate is cleared.

Shades of brown — every tone, every texture, worn with intention. This is an elevated evening and we invite you to show up fully. Chocolate, cognac, caramel, bronze, espresso, nude. The room becomes part of the experience when everyone arrives dressed for the occasion. Dress code is strictly enforced at entry.
