Chef Gianluca Ruggieri × Chef Bilena Settepani

For one night only, Settepani Restaurant welcomes Toronto-based Chef Gianluca Ruggieri for a special collaborative dinner with Executive Pastry Chef Bilena Settepani, bringing together Roman and Sicilian culinary traditions in the heart of Harlem.

Born in Rome and based in Toronto, Gianluca is a private chef, content creator and supper club host known for celebrating authentic regional Italian cuisine. Through his signature Flavours of Italy series, he has built a community of more than 500,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok, sharing the recipes, traditions and stories that define Italy’s diverse culinary landscape.

Born and raised in New York, Bilena Settepani represents the second generation of Settepani Restaurant, the family business founded by Chef Nino Settepani. Drawing from her family’s Sicilian heritage and her own contemporary New York perspective, Bilena continues the traditions that have shaped Settepani while bringing a new generation into the story.

For this one-night-only dinner, Gianluca and Bilena come together for the first time to create a menu inspired by their respective roots — Rome and Sicily — combining iconic flavors, regional techniques and playful interpretations of Italian classics.
