The Petaluma Gap Winegrowers Alliance invites wine lovers to experience the return of the Petaluma Gap Wind to Wine Festival on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the stunning Gambonini Family Ranch in the heart of the Petaluma Gap American Viticultural Area (AVA). Set against the backdrop of the ranch’s beautifully restored historic hay barn — once part of a working dairy ranch and now transformed into an elegant luxury event venue — the festival will showcase more than 20 acclaimed Petaluma Gap wineries pouring wines grown in one of California’s most distinctive wine regions. Guests will enjoy an afternoon of:
An immersive Celebration of the Region’s Signature
Coastal Wines and Agricultural Heritage
Artisan Cheese and Charcuterie
Vegetarian & Traditional Paella Made by Omar Cruz
Live Acoustic Music All Afternoon
Spectacular Vineyard and Ranch views
Known for its powerful coastal winds, dramatic temperature shifts, and extended growing season, the Petaluma Gap AVA produces wines of exceptional balance, structure, and complexity. The Wind to Wine Festival offers attendees the opportunity to taste firsthand how the region’s famed maritime influence shapes every bottle.
“This festival captures everything that makes the Petaluma Gap special — the wind, the land, the farming families, and the extraordinary wines,” said Heidi Bridenhagen, President of the Board of Directors. “Hosting the event at Gambonini Family Ranch adds another layer of authenticity and history to the experience.”
The Wind to Wine Festival will bring together winemakers, growers, food artisans, and wine enthusiasts for three hours of tasting and celebration in one of Sonoma County’s most scenic and historic settings.
