The Bar Announces New North Phoenix Location Opening: March 31

The Bar, the popular bar and restaurant concept with locations in the Arcadia and Uptown Phoenix neighborhoods, has announced its newest location in North Phoenix. The Bar North Phoenix, located at 2965 W. Dove Valley Rd. in the Pointe 17 Shopping Center, is set to open on Tuesday, March 31.

 

“The Bar is the neighborhood place where you can come with your friends, your co-workers and your significant other for a great meal, amazing drinks, incredible specials and a lot of fun,” said Owner Frank Vairo. “We want The Bar to be a place where everyone feels welcome and everyone leaves with a memory. We look forward to bringing that energy to the Dove Valley neighborhood.”

 

Similar to its sister establishments, The Bar North Phoenix will feature a swaggy, vibey, energetic and playful dive bar atmosphere that pays homage to the late-90s-to-early-2000s era. Inside boasts just under 2,000 square feet of fun and entertainment, while the huge outdoor patio offers additional accommodations.

 

The Bar North Phoenix leadership is helmed by Jenna Pierides, partner and regional manager. All things culinary are spearheaded by Corporate Executive Chef Arturo Garino Jr. Garino also serves as the executive chef of Nook Kitchen, which is under the same ownership as The Bar.

 

Every night of the week presents a unique opportunity for entertainment and specials at The Bar North Phoenix, with activities like karaoke, bingo and for a nightlife vibe, DJs on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. until close. A variety of weekly specials can also be expected, such as $1 wing night on Tuesdays.

 

The Bar’s award-winning wings come in a variety of flavors from “John Blaze Honey Hot” to “Blow Out Your O Ring,” and everything in between. The menu also features popular Shareables, such as Potato Skins, Wisconsin Cheese Curds and Beer Battered Onion Rings.

 

The “Glizzies” are not to be missed. These creative hot dog specialties range from the ‘Merican Dog with ketchup, mustard and relish to the Sonoran Dog, a bacon-wrapped dog piled with mayo, mustard, pinto beans, pico, cheddar jack cheese, salsa verde and grilled yellow pepper.

 

The Glizzy Fiveplay Tower features one of each hot dog variety (including the two aforementioned selections along with the ‘Da Bears Dog, Chili Chz Dog and New Yawk Dog), a pound of house-cut French fries and all the saucy fixin’s for $40++. Big groups can opt for the “Glizzygasm” 10 Dog Tower featuring two of each dog, two pounds of fries and all the saucy fixin’s — plus a tableside delivery worthy of a social media reel — for $75++.

 

Beyond wings, Sharables and Glizzies, The Bar North Phoenix’ menu will include salads, burgers such as The Bar Smashburger with two smashed ground Wagyu and sirloin beef patties, wraps, sweets and more.

 

The Bar North Phoenix will be open daily from noon to 2 a.m., serving food until 1:30 a.m. Happy hour takes place Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m.
