CLASS BY ASSOCIATION offers cocktail enthusiasts an opportunity to delve deeper and refine their knowledge of cocktails. Classes explore bar basics, tools and techniques as well as individual spirits, their history and use in classic and contemporary cocktails.

The Association hosts the one-hour class every Fridays & Saturdays from 8pm-9pm.

All classes are $45 per person and include:

• 1-hour PRIVATE cocktail class

• Tasting of 3-4 craft cocktails

• Social Hours 9-10:30pm with special cocktail pricing

For optimized enjoyment, we limit classes to 25 seats.

Registration is required for participation. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for different dates.

SATURDAY 2/7 - COFFEE Espresso martinis are all the rage nowadays... learn about this and other delicious coffee inspired cocktails you'll love.

FRIDAY 2/13 - COGNAC Easily one of the most popular spirits in the world, sign up for this class to learn how to make drinks with France’s delicious creation.

SATURDAY 2/14 - VALENTINE'S DAY COCKTAILS Enjoy the beautiful aesthetic and flavors of the most beautiful, romantic and aphrodisiac cocktail recipes. These cocktails will have you swooned.

FRIDAY 2/20 - TEQUILA You've been drinking the wrong tequila, let us show you the way. Here we discuss the different aging processes and flavor profiles that makes this spirit one of the most popular in the world… and for good reason.

SATURDAY 2/21 - BARTENDERS CHOICE Wanna know what we are drinking? (Off the clock of course) 

FRIDAY 2/27 - FIRE Our most popular class, here we will show you the secrets of our famous old fashioned on fire, as well as other techniques to impress all your friends at your next party.

SATURDAY 2/28 - RUM Arguably the most diverse spirit in the world, here we will explore all the different types of rum around the world, and their use in the vastly different cocktails that benefit and bloom from their every spice and nuance.

FRIDAY 3/6 - GIN Gin is one of the most versatile spirits for cocktails. Here we will showcase the different types and flavor profiles and how to use them to your advantage.

SATURDAY 3/7 - COCKTAIL ACROSS THE WORLD Think of it like a really cool foreign exchange program. Here we explore some of the national cocktails and local libations from countries around the world.

FRIDAY 3/13 - WHISKEY We will explore the extensive world of whiskey cocktails. These cocktails come from all over the world and are exclusively from grain spirits. We will trace back to the origin of how this liquor came to be and how it is being used in modern drinks to this very day.

SATURDAY 3/14- CHICAGO MIXOLOGY (Irish Edition) In this class we will examine the Midwest home for pushing the envelope in drinks. From the Aviary to the Violet Hour, Chicago has established itself as one of the greatest cities to have a well made cocktail.

FRIDAY 3/20- SMOKE This class will have us using smoke in our drinks! There are more than a couple ways to use smoke in your cocktails and attendees will get a chance to taste/learn about them all!

SATURDAY 3/21 - MEXICAN COCKTAILS Come out and try some of the delicious offerings and ingredients from our neighbors to the south! We go over what spirits to use and some classics that have changed the face of cocktails worldwide.

FRIDAY 3/27 - MEZCAL A look at our neighbor to the south and their amazing, artisanal, magical spirit of Mezcal (the origins of tequila), and all it's different varietals.

SATURDAY 3/28 - SPICY Love your spicy cocktails? There's more out there than just spicy margaritas. Learn about some of the most popular spicy cocktails of today.
