CLASS BY ASSOCIATION offers cocktail enthusiasts an opportunity to delve deeper and refine their knowledge of cocktails. Classes explore bar basics, tools and techniques as well as individual spirits, their history and use in classic and contemporary cocktails.

The Association hosts the one-hour class every Fridays & Saturdays from 8pm-9pm.

All classes are $45 per person and include:

• 1-hour PRIVATE cocktail class

• Tasting of 3-4 craft cocktails

• Social Hours 9-10:30pm with special cocktail pricing

For optimized enjoyment, we limit classes to 25 seats.

Registration is required for participation. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for different dates.

FRIDAY 7/31 - COCKTAILS AT HOME Whether you are hosting a party or just want to show off a drink at another friend's home this class will give you the tools to make drinks that are both easy to make and tasty as well. We will go over the best drinks, techniques with kitchen home tools and even what you should stock your bar with.

AUGUST

SATURDAY 8/1 - THE SOUR Don’t let the name fool you, these balanced, creamy, and fresh cocktails will have your palate screaming for more. (Egg warning)

FRIDAY 8/7 - TEQUILA You've been drinking the wrong tequila, let us show you the way. Here we discuss the different aging processes and flavor profiles that makes this spirit one of the most popular in the world… and for good reason.

SATURDAY 8/8 - COCKTAILS ACROSS THE WORLD Think of it like a really cool foreign exchange program. Here we explore some of the national cocktails and local libations from countries around the world.

FRIDAY 8/14 - RUM Arguably the most diverse spirit in the world, here we will explore all the different types of rum around the world, and their use in the vastly different cocktails that benefit and bloom from their every spice and nuance.

SATURDAY 8/15 - PUNCHES Thought to be the precursor to the modern cocktail, these large format libations pay tribute to the old saying “if it ain't broke, don't fix it.”

FRIDAY 8/21 - MEZCAL A look at our neighbor to the south and their amazing, artisanal, magical spirit of Mezcal (the origins of tequila), and all it's different varietals.

SATURDAY 8/22 - COFFEE Espresso martinis are all the rage nowadays... learn about this and other delicious coffee inspired cocktails you'll love.

FRIDAY 8/28 - GIN Gin is one of the most versatile spirits for cocktails. Here we will showcase the different types and flavor profiles and how to use them to your advantage.

SATURDAY 8/29 - DESSERT If you have a sweet tooth and love to drink your sugars this class is for you. We will look into some old school, new and original after dinner drinks. (Dairy warning)

SEPTEMBER

FRIDAY 9/4 - WHISKEY We will explore the extensive world of whiskey cocktails. These cocktails come from all over the world and are exclusively from grain spirits. We will trace back to the origin of how this liquor came to be and how it is being used in modern drinks to this very day.

SATURDAY 9/5 - SPICY Love your spicy cocktails? There's more out there than just spicy margaritas. Learn about some of the most popular spicy cocktails of today.

FRIDAY 9/11 - TEQUILA You've been drinking the wrong tequila, let us show you the way. Here we discuss the different aging processes and flavor profiles that makes this spirit one of the most popular in the world… and for good reason.

SATURDAY 9/12 - FIRE Our most popular class, here we will show you the secrets of our famous old fashioned on fire, as well as other techniques to impress all your friends at your next party. We’ll bring the fire extinguishers.

FRIDAY 9/18 - COGNAC Easily one of the most popular spirits in the world, sign up for this class to learn how to make drinks with France’s delicious creation.

SATURDAY 9/19 - COCKTAILS ACROSS AMERICA This class will take us from New Orleans, to New York to California and everywhere in between. Come taste the history of the US's expansive cocktail culture.

FRIDAY 9/25 - TIKI The origins of these “Island” style cocktails may surprise you. Come for the fresh flavors, stay for the rum… lots and lots of rum.

SATURDAY - 9/26 - SMOKE This class will have us using smoke in our drinks! There are more than a couple ways to use smoke in your cocktails and attendees will get a chance to taste/learn about them all!
