Guitarist, composer, and teacher with roots in Manhattan and a soul shaped by Southern Spain. He has been playing since he was 10 — from a second-hand acoustic to a Fender Stratocaster, through Latin Jazz bands, recording studios, and concert halls. Influences run from Flamenco masters like Paco de Lucía to the jazz-fusion fire of Miles Davis and the fingerstyle poetry of Michael Hedges. Today Robert's original music is mostly fingerstyle acoustic — a conversation between every place he has ever lived and every song he has ever loved.
