One of the most common questions asked by people searching for new wines is ‘what is the difference between New World and Old World wines?

Classic or contemporary? Old World wines tend to be lighter-bodied, lower in alcohol, have brighter acidity, and show more earth-driven flavors. New World wines are usually fuller-bodied, higher in alcohol, have lower acidity, and are much riper on the palate. Explore the stylistic and geographical differences between traditionally made wines and their modern counterparts.
