Taste Your Way From Riviera Del Garda To Willamette Valley

If you have an Old World palate or lean towards the New, this Friday’s free tasting is going to delight and excite you. We’ll open in the Veneto just south of Lake Garda, then journey north to drink experts’ favorite wine of the Dolomites and then south for the real white wine of Rome. And with our mouths all watering and fresh, head west to Willamette for a pair of compelling Pinots from Evesham Wood.

All you have to do to enjoy the trip is come by the shop between 3 and 7pm on Friday. When you’ll find us pouring:

Marangona Chiaretto Riviera Del Garda Classico 2025 – “Riviera del Garda” means the southern coast of Italy’s Lake Garda. “Chiaretto” means a rosé of native grapes: here Gropello, Marzemino, Barbera and Sangiovese. “Marangona” means, “holy cow, this is delicious!”

Cantina Terlano Pinot Bianco Tradition 2024 – Don’t tell anyone, but winemakers in the Dolomites sell Pinot Grigio – they drink Pinot Bianco. As WA said of this a couple of years ago, “Here's a wine to stock in your refrigerator for easy access when needed.”
