Sunday Funday Wine Tour: Two Loudoun Wineries From DC

Cost: $79 - $139

Sleep in, then let us drive. Sunday Funday is a shorter Sunday in Loudoun County wine country: two wineries, lunch at the first, and back by about 5:00 PM.

Pickup is 11:00 AM at the West Falls Church Metro Kiss & Ride lot, or 11:55 AM at Market Station in Leesburg. Your host plans the route and makes the reservations, and a professional driver handles the road.

Choose your ticket

Sunday Explorer, $79 per guest: the ride, your host and two winery stops. Buy only the tastings you want.

Sunday Connoisseur, $139 per guest: everything in Explorer, plus a tasting at both wineries, arranged ahead.

A 6% booking fee applies. Lunch is not included; buy what you like from the first winery's menu.

11:00 AM pickup at West Falls Church Metro

11:55 AM pickup at Market Station, Leesburg

12:20 PM winery one, with lunch

2:40 PM winery two

4:15 PM back in Leesburg

5:00 PM back at the Metro

Times are planned, not promised. Traffic can shift them a little.

Where you go

Your date sets the pair: Williams Gap Vineyard and Good Spirit Farm on October 25, then 868 Estate Vineyards and Tranquility Farm, or Hillsborough Winery and Firefly Cellars. The booking calendar shows the pair for each Sunday.

Bring your own cans

Sunday Funday is the one tour where you can bring drinks for the bus: up to 2 canned alcoholic drinks per person. Cans only, with no bottles, glass or coolers, and no beer. Your cans stay on the bus.

Every guest must be 21 or older with a valid photo ID. Tours run rain or shine.
