Summer By The Sea: Whites & Rosés From The Atlantic To The Aegean

Spend a summer evening tasting white and rosé wines from Europe’s coastal regions—with a lineup that goes well beyond the usual bottles.

The American Wine Society Chicago will pour wines from the Atlantic, Mediterranean, Adriatic, and Aegean, including lesser-known grapes, regions, and styles that are especially well suited to warm weather.

Each wine will be paired with a regional bite, so instead of a standard charcuterie board, expect food that helps bring the place and the wine into focus.

This is a social, guided tasting for anyone who enjoys wine—whether you are just starting to explore or already know your Assyrtiko from your Albariño.
