We are very excited to announce our next winemaker dinner series, including an evening at our San Juan Capistrano location, Perspektive Studio! For our May Winemaker Dinner Series we're thrilled to share a fantastic line up of wines from boutique, Paso Robles Winery, Stiekema. We have a fantastic line-up of micro-production wines planned, each which will be presented by owner/winemaker, Mike Stiekema. Mike Stiekema (stick-em-ah) is the one-man-army of Stiekema Wine Company. He fell into the wine industry over 13 years ago. After completing studies in Viticulture & Enology, he landed in Paso Robles in 2018, hungry for high caliber winemaking. Mike strives to produce wines that reflect life’s balance, using sustainable and regenerative practices in the vineyard and winery, fostering a community of growers, makers, and enthusiasts who all share this value. I believe that by honoring the natural cycles of life and the land, we can create wines that not only taste exquisite but also nourish our souls. * Please note, this dinner will take place on the second floor in loft space. A flight of low-rise stairs is the only way to access the seated dinner area.
Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course.
