Craven Wines is the collaboration of husband-and-wife team Mick and Jeanine Craven, whose journey spans harvests across the globe before putting down roots in South Africa. Drawn to the diversity and potential of Stellenbosch, they’ve focused on single-vineyard wines that capture the nuance and character of specific sites, particularly in the Polkadraai Hills.

With a philosophy rooted in “less is more,” the Cravens work closely with growers to farm sustainably and thoughtfully, allowing the vineyards to speak for themselves. In the cellar, the approach is equally restrained—native fermentations, minimal intervention, and a focus on balance result in wines that are fresh, vibrant, and expressive of place.
