New York’s Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli join forces with Los Angeles culinary duo Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo for a one-night-only collaboration bringing together four longtime friends and some of the most influential names in modern American dining.

Known simply as “The Franks,” Castronovo and Falcinelli are the chefs and co-founders behind the beloved Frankies Spuntino Group. Since opening Frankies 457 Spuntino in Brooklyn in 2004, the childhood friends have built a following around their soulful, unfussy approach to Italian cooking and warm neighborhood hospitality.

From the West Coast, Shook and Dotolo have built their own culinary legacy, including their namesake Jon & Vinny’s, where Italian-American comfort food, quality ingredients and laid-back hospitality have made the restaurant a California favorite.

This isn’t the first time these four have shared a kitchen. Shook and Dotolo previously joined The Franks for their celebrated backyard chef series in Brooklyn, making this SOBEWFF® dinner a reunion years in the making.

For this special evening, the foursome comes together at Jon & Vinny’s at the Rubell Museum, bringing the beloved Los Angeles restaurant’s signature energy to one of Miami’s most distinctive cultural destinations. Expect a collaborative menu that blends New York and Los Angeles sensibilities, Italian-American influences and the easygoing hospitality these four chefs have made their calling card.

It’s a rare chance to experience four longtime collaborators around one table for an unforgettable evening of great food and even better company.
