Come hungry, come curious, and come ready to link up. Chef Kwame Onwuachi brings SOBEWFF® together for a vibrant celebration of Afro-Caribbean cuisine, music, and culture, exploring the flavors, rhythms, traditions, and stories that connect communities across the diaspora.
A James Beard Award-winning chef, cookbook author, and the chef behind New York’s acclaimed Tatiana, Onwuachi has built his cooking around the flavors and traditions of his Nigerian, Jamaican, and Trinidadian heritage. His cuisine is deeply personal, drawing from the foods, memories, and communities that shaped him.
Expect a feast filled with the soulful flavors of the Caribbean, from fragrant spices and fiery peppers to rich stews, vibrant seafood, and dishes made for sharing. And the energy won’t stop at the plate. Music will pulse throughout the evening, with a lively soundtrack setting the rhythm for a night designed to feel as much like a celebration as a feast.
Set at Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel on Collins Avenue, the evening brings the energy of Miami Beach together with the warmth and spirit of an Afro-Caribbean gathering. Come ready to eat, drink, move, and connect as food and music come together for a night that celebrates culture in all its forms.
Each ticket also includes a copy of Onwuachi’s acclaimed cookbook, All Hours, giving guests the opportunity to take the flavors, stories, and inspiration from the evening home with them.
This is one link-up you won’t want to miss.
