Get ready for a Peruvian feast where tradition, technique, and three distinctive culinary voices meet at the table. Gastón Acurio, Diego Oka, and Anthony Vázquez come together at Verde for an unforgettable dinner celebrating the vibrant flavors, rich culinary heritage, and global influence of Peru.
Acurio is one of the most influential figures in modern Peruvian gastronomy, a celebrated chef and restaurateur whose work has helped propel the cuisine of his native Peru onto the world stage. The chef behind the acclaimed Astrid y Gastón and a global ambassador for Peruvian cooking, Acurio has built an international culinary legacy rooted in championing the ingredients, traditions, and people of Peru. He joins Miami’s own Diego Oka, whose cooking draws deeply from his Peruvian roots and Japanese influences, and Anthony Vázquez, who brings his own perspective to a menu inspired by the bold flavors of Latin America. Expect bright ceviches, delicate tiraditos, rich sauces, fresh seafood, and plenty of ají and citrus woven throughout the evening.
The setting is just as memorable. Verde sits along Biscayne Bay inside Pérez Art Museum Miami, Miami’s flagship modern and contemporary art museum and home to a collection of nearly 3,000 works with a particular emphasis on art from Latin America, the Caribbean, and the African diaspora. Surrounded by PAMM’s striking architecture and sweeping waterfront views, guests will experience a dinner where art, place, and Peruvian culinary culture come together in distinctly Miami fashion.
It’s an extraordinary meeting of chefs and cultures in one of the city’s most spectacular waterfront settings, one unforgettable plate at a time.
