Credited with helping popularize Spanish tapas in America, Andrés leads a global collection of restaurants that includes the two-Michelin-starred minibar by José Andrés in Washington, D.C. and the Michelin-starred é by José Andrés in Las Vegas. Joining him is Barcelona’s Albert Adrià, one of contemporary cuisine’s most celebrated creative forces. After spending more than two decades at the legendary elBulli, where he played an integral role in its groundbreaking culinary evolution, Adrià went on to create a collection of acclaimed concepts of his own. His Barcelona restaurant Enigma earned its second Michelin star in 2025 and rose to No. 34 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, the same year Adrià received the prestigious Chefs’ Choice Award—an honor voted on by his fellow chefs.

Andrés and Adrià have collaborated over the years through a shared passion for Spanish cuisine and culinary innovation, including joining forces with Ferran Adrià to create Mercado Little Spain in New York City.
