Step away from the pace of everyday life and discover the art of Slow Tea with In Pursuit of Tea founder Sebastian Beckwith.

Held in the beautifully restored 1880s train depot overlooking the Housatonic River in Cornwall Bridge, this intimate experience invites you to savor some of the world's most remarkable single-origin teas—many drawn from Sebastian's private cellar and rarely available outside their countries of origin.
Over a series of thoughtfully prepared tastings, you'll explore exceptional teas from Japan, India, Taiwan, and China while learning how origin, season, craftsmanship, and brewing techniques transform every cup. The side by side comparative cupping of five teas is a super informative way to put the range of tea into perspective. Along the way, Sebastian shares stories from decades of traveling to tea gardens throughout Asia, offering an insider's perspective on one of the world's oldest and most fascinating beverages.

Whether you're completely new to fine tea or already an enthusiast, you'll leave understanding not only what you enjoy, but why. It's an enlightening experience that changes the way you'll taste tea forever.

Sebastian has spent more than 25 years introducing extraordinary teas to many of New York's finest restaurants and educating sommeliers, chefs, and tea professionals. Now, for the first time, he is bringing this unique tasting experience to Cornwall.
