Summer begins with intention. Join us this June for a vibrant seasonal edition of Sip and Sushi featuring thoughtfully curated pairings with Besson Family Vineyards, one of the Santa Clara Valley’s most historic and celebrated estates.

Sip and Sushi continues its evolution from omakase into a refined kaiseki inspired culinary journey. Omakase means “I leave it up to you,” placing trust in the chef’s vision. Kaiseki deepens that experience through seasonality, balance, harmony, and artful presentation. Each course unfolds with rhythm and purpose, reflecting the beauty and freshness of early summer.

For this June edition, the chefs at Sushi Confidential present an 8 to 10 course omakase to kaiseki progression showcasing pristine seafood, premium meats, and peak summer produce. This is not just raw fish. Expect bright sashimi, delicately composed seasonal plates, warm preparations, and signature creations that blend Japanese technique with California creativity.

Each course will be paired with wines from Besson Family Vineyards, known for its historic old vine plantings and beautifully expressive Rhône and heritage varietals. These wines bring depth, structure, and elegance to complement the vibrant flavors of the season.
