About Terre Rouge & Easton:

Terre Rouge and Easton Wines was founded in the late 80’s by Bill Easton and Jane O’Riordan. Winemaker Bill Easton is one of the original Rhône Rangers and pioneered the Rhône varietals in the Sierra Foothills under the TERRE ROUGE label. The EASTON portfolio includes Amador County favorites like old vine zinfandel and barbera.

"Our wines are balanced and elegant, with complexity that develops as the wines age in bottle. The French call it élevage, which is "raising" the wine in the bottle. There is an art to this style of winemaking and great pleasure in a wine that is ready to drink, while still showing great promise for future aging."

• Easton “Mountaineer” Red Blend: This Zinfandel and Barbera blend has notes of cherries, berries, and swathes of vanilla and toasted oak spice.
• Easton Zinfandel: With notes of black cherry, blackberry, and herbs, this wine delivers a beautiful balance of juicy and savory.
• Domaine de la Terre Rouge “Tete a Tete” Red Blend: This GSM (Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre) blend definitely overdelivers with boysenberry, smoke, meat, and pepper notes combined with a creamy, lengthy finish.
• Domaine de la Terre Rouge “Cotes de L’Ouest” Syrah: Wild raspberry laced with pepper, sage, tar, and olive/herb tones excite the palate.
• Domaine de la Terre Rouge “Sentinel Oak-Pyramid Block” Syrah: Dark color and concentrated aromas of fruit beckon the palate. This powerful Syrah presents notes of framboise, smoky wood tones, earth, and game.
