Winter in San Sebastián is electric — waves crashing on the promenade, bars glowing with pintxos, and markets full of sheep’s milk cheeses and bright seasonal wines. This class explores Basque culinary culture through a guided tasting, a wine flight that highlights the region’s distinct terroir, and a warm, pintxo-inspired bite.

We’ll talk about tradition, smoke, the magic of sheep’s milk, and why Basque flavors feel both rustic and refined at the same time. A class for travelers, food lovers, and winter romantics.

Each Global Winter Series class includes:

  • A guided wine flight;
  • Four paired small bites featuring regional cheeses, accoutrements, and familiar winter snacks;
  • A rich, educational tour of the city’s culinary traditions led through immersive storytelling from our Wedgewood cheese and wine experts;
