Come by Friday, 3-7pm, and you'll not only get to enjoy four new-to-the shop wines. You'll also get a chance to taste what our former team member Jacquelyn Moriarty does with her - very scant - free time: make really terrific wine in Loudoun County, Virginia!

As many of you know, Jacquelyn has temporarily "retired" from wine retail to take care of her new baby. While she's at home, we're celebrating with her oldest baby - Holmes Wine Cabernet Franc Loudoun County Mimi 2020. Every time we taste this 100% Cabernet Franc from Williams Gap Vineyard, we're impressed by the way it dances and swirls on our palates. You'll be impressed, too. Maybe even more by the micro-price on this micro-production Virginia red!

Here's the full line-up open for you to try Friday from 3-7pm:

Donna Laura Sangiovese Rosato Ali 2025 - All Sangiovese organically grown in the heart of Chianti Classico that delivers loads of tart refreshment and food-friendly bite. The dry, crisp, finish and succulent texture makes this a perfect thirst-quenching solo-sipper, too.

Dom Roger Perrin Cotes du Rhone Blanc Prestige 2024 - Peaches and cream with a honeysuckle garnish and dusty rocks at the end from a blend of organicly grown 50% Viognier, 40% Grenache blanc and 10% Clairette done all in tank.

Dom Roger Perrin Chatueneuf du Pape Blanc 2024 - A luxuriously rich blend of 50% Grenache Blanc, 25% Clairette, 20% Roussanne and 5% Bourboulenc ferment and age 15 months in mostly large, old, oak. Complex and long.

Holmes Wine Cabernet Franc Loudoun County Mimi 2020 - Before she joined us at CBC and even while making wine in New Zealand, Spain and Portugal, Jacquelyn Moriarty was nurturing her micro-production Holmes Wine project in Loudon County. This is what that project's all about, a beautifully pure, finessed and delicious Cabernet Franc to enjoy solo and, especially, with food.

Dom Roger Perrin Cotes du Rhone Rouge 2024 - A classic blend of 75% Grenache, 15% Cinsault and 10% Syrah done in concrete that delivers the kind of robust and highly drinkable CdR you'll enjoy with everything from burgers to pizza.

All the wines are on-sale during the tasting, and you can mix-match your way to the best six-pack savings. Come enjoy a quick trip to Roger Perrin in the Rhone, a refreshing Italian rose and, especially, Jacquelyn's delicious Cabernet Franc!
