In November 2025, we explored a remarkable lineup of Tenuta delle Terre Nere wines spanning the 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2022 vintages—an evening where each bottle shone and vividly expressed the singular character of Etna’s black‑lava slopes. We now return to those same volcanic vineyards for a renewed look at the estate that helped define Sicily’s modern renaissance.

This session focuses on the exceptionally scarce 2023 vintage, a year shaped by low yields, striking purity, and uncommon transparency across the estate’s celebrated contrade (districts). The lifted elegance of the high‑altitude reds and the mineral‑driven precision of the whites reveal Etna’s terroir in one of its most distinctive modern expressions. A focused, compelling exploration of a rare vintage from one of Italy’s benchmark producers.
