Join us for another great bourbon pairing dinner, this time with Reservoir Distillery out of Richmond, VA + Virginia Heritage Grain Project!

Join us at Vault & Cellar Thursday, August 27 at 6:30 PM for an unforgettable evening celebrating Virginia whiskey, agriculture, and the flavors that connect them.

Vault & Cellar is proud to welcome Reservoir Distillery founder Dave Cuttino and Director of Distillery Education, Leader of the Virginia Heritage Grain Project, and author Shelley Sackier for an intimate four-course whiskey dinner unlike any we've hosted before.

Reservoir Distillery has spent nearly two decades asking one simple question: What does Virginia taste like? Through their commitment to locally grown grains, innovative whiskey-making, and deep partnerships with Virginia farmers, they've become one of the Commonwealth's most influential craft distilleries.

The evening will also spotlight the Virginia Heritage Grain Project, an ambitious initiative led by Shelley Sackier to rediscover historic grain varieties once used in American spirits. Working alongside farmers, researchers, and distillers across Virginia, the project is preserving agricultural history while shaping the future of Virginia whiskey through flavor, sustainability, and local collaboration.

Inspired by those same heritage grains, Chef Kari Rushing has created a four-course menu showcasing the project's unique ingredients in unexpected and delicious ways. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with a Reservoir whiskey pour and an original cocktail crafted by Vault & Cellar's talented bartending team, whose creations have earned recognition in the Virginia Spirits Cocktail Games.

Throughout the evening, Dave and Shelley will share the stories behind Reservoir Distillery, the Virginia Heritage Grain Project, and the remarkable journey from field to glass. It's a relaxed, intimate opportunity to enjoy incredible food, exceptional whiskey, creative cocktails, and meaningful conversation with the people helping define the future of Virginia spirits.

Whether you're a devoted whiskey enthusiast, passionate about Virginia agriculture, or simply love an unforgettable dinner experience, this is an evening you won't want to miss.
